Kogakura town is small area in the southern part of Nagasaki city.At the end of May, the “Hime-botal”, fireflies appear in the Kano-o gawa river basin, which runs through Kogakura.
Unlike the common Genji-botal, it features glowing flickering. In addition, unlike the Genji-botal in the river, Hime-botal lives in in the Bamboo grove and the forest.
