Hario transmitting station in Sasebo, northern Nagasaki Prefecture.This super-huge radio tower, which was built by the former Japanese Navy before the war, is said to be a radio tower that relayed the famous “Niita Yamobore” order to attack perl harbor.
It is now in the park, and admission fee is free (Sasebo-shi GJ!).)。You can also watch cherry blossoms in the spring and visit the nearby Saikai Bridge Park.
In the spring and summer, the green of the power supply room ruins is overgrown as the “laputa”, Japanese famous animation movie. Don’t miss the send tower as well.
Traffic access
About an hour and a half drive from Nagasaki City.From the National road near the Saikai-bashi Bridge, you can enter the path towards the Orange field.After that, you can see the free parking lot for about five minutes.
