Sasebo City is located in the northern part of Nagasaki Prefecture.Ishidake Observatory is located on the point facing the Kujyu-kushima Island, Western Sasebo.

Traffic access
About 30 minutes by car from Sasebo City.It is close to Mori Kirara, Zoo. The parking lot is on the way to the observatory and climbs the stairs about five minutes from there.
