The oldest Western-style slip dog that Japan was laid down in the Edo period in the Kosuge district in the southern part of Nagasaki city. This is Kosuge ship repairing dock heritage site.It was registered as World Heritage Site in 2015.A detailed background explanation is transferred to the Nagasaki city’s HP.

Traffic access

The city centre of Nagasaki is accessible by taxi.It takes about 10 minutes from Glover Garden.
Take the route bus (Nagasaki Bus) to the Nokomasaki area via Tomachi and get off at the “Kosuge Town” bus stop.It is right in front of the bus stop.
