Attractions and Features
Mount Inasa is the most famous mountain in Nagasaki. There is a large observation facility on the summit of Inasa, and you can see the night view of Nagasaki City chosen as the world’s three largest night view and the giant cantilever crane of the World Heritage Site.
The altitude is 333m and the same as Tokyo Tower. It is a point to be able to see the night view like taking it in the hand because the distance from the city area is very near to the spot.
In addition, it is recommended that the Summit observatory is high and the wind blows strongly, and it visits by a steady cold weather posture such as bringing the Haori one such as the windbreaker except the midsummer.
Traffic access
The access to the top of the ropeway is far away from the tram station, so I don’t recommend it.
Recommended! (1) Take a taxi to Fuchi-Jinja station and take a ropeway to the summit. You can enjoy a glass-covered aerial tramway (link)
(2) Taxi to the summit. It is door to door
The route bus goes only to the halfway. The number is also small, I do not recommend too much.
The hotel may conduct a night view bus tour in Mount Inasa. Please confirm.
If you are a private car, the day you visit will be different on holidays or weekdays.
If the day of the visit is Saturday or the holidays
After the evening, there is a day when you cannot use the Mountain car park except taxi and Microbus. In that case, you can stop the car in the middle of the large parking lot and head to the summit by a free shuttle bus. Please check the detailed schedule from the “Guide of the Observatory parking lot” here.
If the day you visit is a weekday
You can park in the mountaintop parking lot.If you climb from the road towards Nagasaki station, there is a gate to the parking lot when you run the left lane all the way.Because the prospect is hard to effect in a continuous corner in the vicinity of the summit, I recommend advance confirmation in Google Street View if possible.
